Ramblers Birthday Card

This is a card I did for a friend so couldn't post it on here until after the birthday. This was made with DCWV All about Boys and Latte background papers with a Kanban topper and a few letters and numbers from an old DCWV kit.

The inside is done with the same background papers with a little distressing to dull down the sharp edges.

Pirate Card

Well here is today's card. This is an A5 card made with DCWV All about Boys background paper with the pirate ship on it and a Kanban Woolly Bears pirate decoupage bear. It is hard to see but I have embellished this with a Kanban "Happy Birthday" topper, some pale and deep blue satin ribbon and some black and icicle stickles.

The inside is layered up with DCWV All about Boys paper again with piratey words on it and a little distressing around the edge. A little left over section of Woolly Bear topper is added on the bottom.

Hello again. I am doing pretty well keeping on top of blogging my cards.

The card above was inspired by Papercrafts by Rach blog as it was my first time sewing a card. Really love this card and even managed to colour the inside with matching papers.

To the right is a card made from a HOTP Princess Paper Pad with some stickles all over and using a really lovely card blank cut from Pams Blog template, as also seen on Papercrafts by Rach Blog, gorgeous.

Thank You Card

I bought a lovely kit from QVC just after Christmas which was Garden Themed Toppers and Cardstock and came in Spring or Autumn ranges. I was a bit pastelled out so thought the autumnal coloured version would be nice for a change. The kit is now out of stock but was item no 588711 for info.

I have now got around to making a couple of cards so far from it and apart from some plain card stock and some gold stickles I have added nothing extra to these cards other than what came in the kit.

50th Birthday Card

It has come round to a friends 50th birthday so I made this card for me and all her friends at work to write and wish her all the best. The card was made using the Kanban Bamboo kit (from QVC) with some Card Candy and a bit of vintage green ribbon. I am pretty sure the 8x8 scalloped card was from Buzzcraft and was bought from a local craft shop (Dolly Cottage Crafts).

Baby and Wedding Cards

Well now I am using this blog I had better keep posting.

Here are a couple of little girl baby cards I have made using the Kanban Special Moments toppers. The background card is also from this Kanban range and I have just added some diamantes, a but of pink organza ribbon and some Icicle Stickles around the edge.

Anyway off now and will hopefully keep posting as and when cards are completed.

I thought it was about time that I put some of my cards up. Even if this is just so I can keep track of what cards I have made. Here are some from the past.

The card to the left was made at a craft class at Whichcraft (www.whichcraftuk.co.uk) in Doncaster last summer. It is made from one of their own design card blanks with Wild Rose Studio stamp. One of my first forays into the world of stamping.

The card below was made for my nephew's birthday and was part of a beach themed challenge I did with a few friends. The card base is from Whichcraft and is one of their special card bases. The background paper is Magnolia clouds and the toppers are from Kanban.

The card to the left was another made at the class. The stamp used was a Wild Rose Studio cat stamp as were the papers. The background card was made from 2 scalloped cards stuck together to make the gatefold.

The below card was made using a Kanban sheet of card from a kit from QVC, sorry can't remember which kit it was but quite a while ago. The decoupage on the front is from House Mouse Happy Hoppers range, available from Joanna Sheen. Very simple.

Well that is about it for today. Off to make some more cards. Will be back soon with more, probably Kanban, designs to show.
