Simple Birthday Card
This is a really simple card, but again a terrible photo. I used the banner punch from Saleabration, this has been carried over to the new catalogue in the summer. I punched out lots of bits from the print stack and put them on raised pads along a piece of linen thread, with a knot at each end.
I then simply stamped the sentiment on the bottom.
Fab for a boys card

Mothers Day Card - Stampenduous Corset
This card was made using the most gorgeous Stampenduous corset stamp. I used a stepper card from WhichCraft and then stamped the beautiful corset onto patterned paper. I then stamped this again and mounted on 3d foam with a few pearls added to the front.
The LOVE words are from a retired Stampin Up embellishment set, the ribbon from Chloe Stamps and the Happy Mothers Day is from Lili of the Valley.
These all added together make a really special Mothers Day card for my Mum.

Craftwork Cards Vintage Correspondence Birthday Card
So sorry but this is a rubbish photo before I start.
This card was made using the beautiful vintage papers from Craftwork Cards Correspondence set.
The card was simply made with one of the sheets of paper layered onto a cream base card. One of the postcards was used (you get a sheet of 6 of these) and I stamped a birthday sentiment onto the card. This was layered up with three little rose flowers added onto it.
Lili of the Valley Vintage Boy Card
Today's card is made using one of the Lili of the Valley coloured Art Pads. The picture is a lovely vintage style with a boy say with his dog in a deckchair chilling. I made this for my Nieces boyfriends birthday.
It was a very quick and simple card. I took a Kraft card base card and trimmed the boy to fit straight across it. I then added some Wisteria Wonder ruffled ribbon from Stampin Up behind it. I know that is a strange colour to use for a male card but it worked so well. I then stamped in the corner a birthday message to finish it off.
I so wanted to add more embellishments to it like buttons, twine etc but I went for simple, particularly as I was posting it.
Thanks for looking.

Big Birthday Cake Card
Todays card is made using a free stamp and paper set that I got with a magazine a few months ago. You can get an almost ideal set from Stampin Up. The cake is made up of individual layers, every bit is an individual section made up to make the lovely huge cake you see here. I stamped this with Stazon and then coloured it in with Promarkers. The papers were also free and I think match really well with the whole theme.

Vintage Craftwork Cards
These two cards were made from a lovely Craftwork Cards set called Correspondence Collection. I really love these papers and they came with some lovely sentiments and ribbons.
The first card was made simply with one piece of the beautiful paper and some gorgeous Stampin Up retired ribbon and a sentiment added. I then glittered with Stickles the flower to give it a bit of sparkle.
The second card was made with again one sheet of paper. I then added a sentiment which I layered onto a bit of leftover paper. A lovely little bow using some pink ribbon that came with the set. Lovely.

Chloe Floral Heart Good Luck Card
today's card was made using a lovely Chloe large floral heart. I have used this stamp so many times for so many occasions.
This card was made as a Good Luck card for a colleague leaving to a new job a while ago.
The stamp was stamped and heat embossed in
Wow Powders Silver and then really delicately coloured in with pale pink pro marker.
This was then layered up on hot pink card and a lovely loose pink and white ribbon tied together into a bow.
The Good Luck sentiment is from Stampin Up, as was the punch to make the pretty shape

Butterfly Happy Birthday Card
This card was made from the usual Stampin Up products. The butterflies were stamped on Whisper White card stock with Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple ink. Then on a separate piece of card stamped again and punched out with the matching butterfly punches.
The sentiment is from the Memorable Moments set and was stamped onto card again and punched out with the Label punch. A second piece of card stock in Midnight Muse was then punched out and cut in half. Each half was then stuck at each end of the label to give the shadow effect.
This sentiment was then layered up onto a piece of Raspberry Ripple ribbon.
The whole thing was then layered onto a piece of Raspberry Ripple and Midnight Muse to give it the final lift.
Love this simple but elegant design. Must make it in the ice creamy In Colors that we currently have.

Pansy Flower Happy 40th Birthday
Today's card I made for a friends big birthday earlier this year.
The colour combo is Crumb Cake and Night of Navy, two of my favourites.
I used a combination of the various pansies in the Pansy flower set and the fern from a different set - sorry I can't remember which set this is from.
The words are from the Curly Cute set with the 40th from the Memorable Moments set layered up on a flag style banner.
Really love the simple but effective layout used here.

Pansy Punch Flower Congratulations Card
This card was so simple to make but I really enjoyed making it and more importantly giving it away!
The base card is Pretty in Pink and Raspberry Ripple accent. The flowers were stamped and some were fussy cut and raised on 3d foam. I then pulled some of the colour out with a blender pen and dotted some Pearl Makers to make stamens.
The corners were tied with some beautiful Raspberry Ripple ribbon.
The sentiment is one of the retired but most used by me set, called Curly Cute.
It is hard to appreciate it but this card is actually an 8x8 inch card, so pretty big.

Happy Congratulations Thank You Card
This is one of a batch of thank you cards I made for my niece to give to people after her recent 21st birthday.
The card was a very simple one layer card stamped with the lanterns from the Happy Congratulations card. The middles are stamped separately with Island Indigo, Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.
I really like this stamp set as it is a bit different.

From This Day Forward Wedding Card
Today's card was made for a friends wedding this weekend.
I took the attached idea and went my own way with it.......
The stamp and sentiment are from the From This Day Forward stamp set and stamped in Night of Navy. The little bits are then coloured in with Daffodil Delight yellow marker. I then used some paper from the Poetry Prints stack and a couple of pearls at the top.
I have to admit I used a very similar style for my parents Sapphire wedding anniversary recently. Very simple and easy yet classy design.

Thanks so Much Sunset Card
This card was made at a recent card class I went to run by Jo French see her blog here. She demoed how to do the sunset and hills technique using sponges to bring the colours in. I think from memory I used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delighy and Early Espresso Stampin Up Inkpads.
The hills were done by tearing some paper and using this as a template, moved around to make the hills different.
The tree stamp is one that I have had for years and is not branded but you can get a very similar one from Stampin Up in the Lovely as a Tree set.
The Thanks so Much sentiment is from a retired Stampin Up set.

Stampin Up Whole Lot of Love - Thank You Card
I made this little card using he Whole Lot of Love stamp set. I stamped the bird without the heart in its mouth, in Island Indigo. The words were from the Happy watercolour stamp set from the Spring Catalogue, stamped in Tangerine Tango.
The card was layered up on Tangerine Tango card stock, punched at the bottom with the scallop ribbon punch. This was then all layered up onto Island Indigo patterned card stock from the Christmas catalogue and then onto plain Island Indigo card stock.

Hunkydory Wedding Cards
I really love the simplicity of these kits, they enable me to make a batch of cards even if I have no inspiration to do my stamping cards.

Hunkydory Congratulations and Men's Birthday Card
Today's cards are a bit different.... As much as I love Stampin Up and other stamps I occasionally fancy a more simple approach to card making and this generally involves Hunkydory.
These cards are made from the Milestones Hunkydory Set which included three A4 sheets, one with the toppers, one a decorated backing card and the third being a decorated backing card with foiling. From these three sheets I made these two cards, plus have enough bits left to do another two cards, what a bargain.

You are Loved, Engagement Card - Stampin Up
I have at last managed to work out how to put my photos on with my IPad so will endeavour to keep blogging from now on.
My niece rang at the weekend to tell me that she had just got engaged so, a card just had to be made! She loves pink but I didn't want to make anything too pink so kraft card was needed, or as Stampin Up like to call it, Crumb Cake.
The stamp set is called You are Loved, which is now a retired set but makes beautiful Valentines, wedding, engagement cards.
I stamped the heart using Versamark and then heat embossed with opaque white Wow Powder onto Crumb Cake card stock. I then layered this onto Blushing Bride pink card stock. The next layer was the same Crumb Cake and Blushing Bride layers one stamped using the Congratulations words from another retired set called Congratulations and the other stamp set called Love and Laughter used the words Congratulations on your engagement.
The Love and Laughter set is still available and is £16.95 in the clear set.
Please keep looking at my page as I will now start to update regularly.
