Spent a fantastic day with a couple of friends last week who spent quite a bit of time teaching me how to stamp properly and I am now an absolute convert. Managed to finish this card on the day and was so simple. Made a shutter style card in black and then cut lots of bits of white card which were all stamped with 3 different but co-ordinating Stampendous stamps and a Happy Birthday sentiment from a Papermania set of stamps. The bottom panel was embossed using the Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers folder. It was stamped using Black Stazon and distressed with Rangers Black Soot distress pad.
I am still amazed I managed to make something as good as this.
Did get halfway through another card as well which when I have completed it will post it up here. It is a Mother's Day card using Penny Black hedgehog stamp.
